Barog is a small and unexplored hill station near Chandigarh on the Shimla-Kalka Highway and is at an elevation of 1800 mts from sea level. Famous for its charming and quaint railway station which is on UNESCO World Heritage Site Kalka–Shimla Railway. Less crowded and very attractive, the place is named after a British engineer Colonel Barog who was a part of the team responsible for the construction of the narrow gauge railway from Kalka to Shimla. During British era , the train stopped at Barog for almost an hour as the Royals used to have lavish lunch here. But access to railway station from highway is difficult and if you wish to visit Barog Railway station then better to visit by Kalka Shimla Toy train ride only.

Morni Hills
Morni Hills is the only hill station of Haryana situated on the outskirts of district Panchkula. It is also a popular picnic destination for locals and tourists.
