2021 Israel Palestine crisis

Israel Palestine war had occurred many times but here we will talk about wars that happened in the year 2021 And 2023. Here we have explained Israel Palestine conflict , Israel Palestine history and about Israel Gaza Attack .A major outbreak of violence occurred on 10th may in the year 2021 until Egypt intervened and declared a ceasefire between Israel Palestine. The Israel Palestine conflict then stopped after full 11 days.

1. Year 2021 =The most dangerous year of all times .1000 rockets fired and many people lost their lives.
2. It all started when many Palestinians started protest when 6 families got evicted from their own homes.
3. SHEIKH Jarrah controversy – It took place in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah .this lead to deadly violence between both the countries. Palestinians considered this illegal.

1. Palestine people considered east Jerusalem as theirs. On the other hand Israel considers all Jerusalem their own.

AL AQSA MOSQUE COMPOUND INCIDENT

1. After this incident Israeli police raided Al Aqsa mosque and fired tear gas, rubber bullets and stun grenades.
2. While Palestinians threw stones at them .
3. The both countries defended themselves by saying that the other country initiated the war.
4. After some days HAMAS fired rockets towards Jerusalem.
5. Gaza strip = was occupied by a militant group called Hamas.
6. COUNTRIES BELIEF ABOUT HAMAS = USA, Israel, EU, Japan believed that Hamas was a terrorist group whereas UK and Australia considered only militant wing of Hamas as a terrorist group. Whereas Israel also returned air strikes on Gaza. Palestine citizens of Israel protested in support of Gaza. USA was in Israel favour.

CONCLUSION= Both Palestine and Israel were wrong in this war. Egypt intervened and declared a ceasefire which after 11 days of war. Both sides claimed victory

• The next major war that took place between Hamas and Israel was in the year 2023.
• Also an another significant war since the Yom Kippur 50 years ago.

THE OCTOBER 7 2023 ATTACK

1. WHAT LED UP TO OCTOBER 7 = The war began when the whole Israel was sleeping and Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel.
2. AT WAR = 1000 of rockets fired at Israeli cities. More than 1000 people got killed and many were injured.
3. IRON DOME= Israel has an iron dome which is an air defense system. But it failed.
4. ABUSES BY THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITIES=Palestinian invaded and many Israeli were held as captive. Israel declared state of war.
5. Hamas responded and defended itself by saying that its attack was because of Israeli atrocities, illegal Israeli settlements, threats to Al Aqsa mosque.
6. OPERATION IRON SWORD = Israel declared operation iron sword against hamas. Israel called its attack operation iron sword.
7. ISRAELI TORTURE AND ILL TREATMENT OF PALESTINIANS Israel cut off basic necessities and its attack on Gaza strip have led to crisis in Gaza.
8. CASUALTIES AND HUMANITARIAN CRISIS= They destroyed more than half of Gaza houses.

WHAT ISRAELI MINISTERS TOLD AND DONE ABOUT GAZA ATTACK

• Israel energy minister = cut down electricity in Gaza . Israel ordered electricity company to halt electricity supply.
• Israel prime minister said that the enemy would have to pay its price .
• on the other hand Israel’s defense minister said that Hamas made a grave mistake attacking on Israel. He also claimed that Israel will win.

CONCLUSION

The war is still going on in the year 2024. Israel attacked Rafah- a city in Palestine in the month of may 2024. so the 2023 war can’t be concluded yet.
